Neil McGettigan and The Eleventh Hour – ‘Emilia Clarke’ in an imaginary world

Written by on 10 December 2022

Neil – of Neil McGettigan and The Eleventh Hour – has drawn a lot of inspiration from artists like Fountains of Wayne, Colin Hay, and The Beatles (of course). He is very much drawn to power-pop, and most of his songs are in that style. He had a lot of fun writing this song. After first noticing the actress, Emilia Clarke, he realized that he often falls for the leading lady. Emilia Clarke, however, is exceptional, and he wrote a fun, fantasy-type of song about how he knows they’d hit it off if they ever were to meet. He has been singing for years, but this was his first venture in writing an entire album all by himself.
